About CASA

Our Purpose
CASA volunteers are trained workers who are appointed by judges to help the courts deal with the overwhelmingly difficult and costly increase in child abuse cases. There are now 843 CASA programs in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Texas CASA provides training, funding, program- and technical-assistance to all existing CASA programs each year, and work tirelessly to bring CASA services to more of Texas' 254 counties.
